1/24 You’re not lazy. You’re misaligned.

Why change feels hard (and how to make it automatic)

Most people think they lack motivation.

But that’s not the real problem.

The truth is, they’re unconsciously fighting themselves. One part of them sets a goal. The other part slams on the brakes.

Sound familiar?

You say you want to get healthier, write more, launch the business. But your actions don’t line up. You procrastinate. You sabotage. You stall.

That’s not because you’re weak. It’s because you’re misaligned.

The split between what you want and what you’ve trained

Here’s what’s actually happening:

Your conscious mind sets a direction. But your unconscious—running 90% of your behavior—is still wired for the old pattern.

The result? Inner conflict.

You’re trying to change through willpower, while your subconscious is running habits, beliefs, and emotions that contradict your goals.

It’s like trying to drive with one foot on the gas and the other on the brake.

Eventually you burn out.

So how do you actually make change automatic?

You align.

Instead of forcing yourself to “do better,” you train your unconscious to want the same thing your conscious mind wants.

That means:

  • Making the new behavior feel emotionally rewarding

  • Repeating it until it becomes second nature

  • Visualizing the outcome so vividly your brain treats it as reality

  • Letting go of guilt and approaching change with curiosity

This is what we’ll practice over the next 24 days.

No fluff. No mystical rituals. Just practical tools to rewire your internal autopilot.

Tiny step for today:

Ask yourself this:

Where in your life are you trying to change by force—and what if you could shift that from struggle to alignment?

Pick one area. Don’t overthink it. Just notice.

Because change doesn’t have to feel like pushing a boulder uphill.

When you work with your mind instead of against it, transformation becomes natural.

And that starts today.
